New Delhi, October
30: A 28-year-old woman has alleged that the accused has indulged in gang rape
with her in Northeast Delhi’s Welcome. The allegation levelled is that the
accused alongwith his friend gang raped her and recorded an obscene video on mobile.
Later fearing being reported to police, the already married accused married the
victim.
After marrying
the victim, he started circulating the lewd video in his friend group. He forced
the victim to indulge in sex with his friends. This forced the victim to return
home and report the incident to police.
Based on the
complaint, police have registered a case under several sections and started investigations.
The accused is absconding.
According to
the complaint filed, the 28-year-old woman used to live with her family in New
Usmanpur and work at a hospital till 2019, where she met the accused. They
became friends, and soon the accused proposed to marry her. When the victim
informed her family about the proposal, they wanted to meet his family. This
was when the accused told the victim, "First, I'd like you to meet my
mother, and then we'll engage both families." It was on this pretext, he took
the victim his home in Welcome. When they reached, no one from his family was home,
except for a friend of the accused. They allegedly gave her a drink laced with intoxicants
which caused her to loose her consciousness. Following which they allegedly raped
her in turns and the accused recorded the incident on mobile, which he used to
intimidate and blackmail her. The woman became pregnant within two months of
the incident, which the accused forced her to abort.
Fearing
being caught for his illegal actions, the accused married the victim. But after
marriage, he started sending explicit video of the victim among his friends and
also persuaded her to have sex with his friends. This was when the victim
thought was enough and returned home and filed the complaint.
