This arrest was made on the basis of two separate complaints lodged by students after Tamil Nadu police set up a designated phone number of which student could complain about sexual abuse.
The accused raped and tortured the victim and even inserted a bottle neck into her private parts. They also videographed their act and posted it on social media.
When the victim's went to the accused house to confront him, the accused and his father abused and thrashed him. Both accused and his father are now absconding.
