Three strongmen entered the house of the victim, tied her husband and raped her and her daughter at gunpoint. Police are on the lookout for the other two accused.
The two teachers raped the sixth standard girl multiple times on the school premises. They threatened the girl with dire consequences if she spoke about the abuse so she kept quiet for a long time.
The case was filed in 2019 but the victim identified the alleged perpetrator only recent so police nabbed TV actor Pearl V Puri and sent him to 14 days in Judicial custody
The girl befriended the man on Instagram and after becoming friendly she exchanged some information and photographs with him but he started blackmailing her threatening to expose those pictures
Police said, efforts will be made to investigate and charge-sheet the case swiftly and to conduct the trail in a fast-track court to ensure speedy justice to the victims
When confronted the accused, her husband and in-laws threatened to implicate the victim in a rape case. The boy finally found the courage to call up child helpline to recount about his exploitation
The soldier even threw the girl on the tracks but she survived and gave the description of her assaulter which helped police to identify and arrest him.
This arrest was made on the basis of two separate complaints lodged by students after Tamil Nadu police set up a designated phone number of which student could complain about sexual abuse.
When the victim's went to the accused house to confront him, the accused and his father abused and thrashed him. Both accused and his father are now absconding.
This incident has opened the floodgates as several students and parents from as many as 30 schools and colleges have complained of sexual harassment by their teachers.
